Taking Down ACORN

I am a martial artist. Unlike most, however, I study the individual forms academically as well as physically. This inquiry extends beyond fighting forms to include military strategy as well – everyone needs a hobby, some people collect stamps. Anyway, the most successful, and natural, forms and strategies all share, at their core, a lesson pulled from nature. The instincts of animals, insects, or natural forces are powerful and worthy of study.

ACORN, the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now, has been, and is currently a major player and motivating force behind the meltdown of our financial system. They are also behind much of the rage against AIG. They will stop at nothing less than complete economic collapse and revolution. The veneer of concern for “poor people” is showing flaws as researchers begin pulling at the loose threads of this vile organization [If you are unfamiliar with this group, it's mission, or strategy, this article will be a good place to start]. It is not enough. This organization is too well funded, too well connected, and too dispersed to be taken down directly. You may as well try to destroy an oak tree with a pocket knife.

There is another way.

In nature, the Gall Wasp is perhaps the oldest acorn eater. Adult females lay eggs in the female flowers of oak trees. As these flowers morph into seeds, galls (abnormal growths) develop in or on the acorn. The wasp’s larvae live in, and feed off the the meat while protected by the acorn’s hard shell. The picture above is of the acorn plum gall, which is quite conspicuous, however many are inconspicuous and can only be found by opening the acorn and examining the contents. The pip gall wasp can destroy acorns by the millions.

This group must be taken down from the inside. Because they have multiple factions and front groups, each group must be invaded. At first these invasions must be inconspicuous. Additional individuals must be converted to Conservatism from acorn workers, or at least have seeds of doubt about the group’s motives planted. The average ACORN employee or volunteer does not have the full picture of the organization’s motives and goals.

When enough “sleeper cells” have been implanted, the entire organization can be brought down in one fell swoop, through insider information being made public, and disruption of daily and long term activities. We are in a battle, as I have mentioned repeatedly on this site. We must begin to think and act like we are in one. The longer we avoid facing reality, the stronger our opponent becomes.
